Important - EU Regulations

The IOW council are about to introduce new EU regulations governing brass playing. Under new Health & Safety rules you can no longer empty spit valves as they may lead to the spread of infection. Therefore we are all going to be issued ( on April 1st) with drip trays that fit onto your instruments and collect any deposited spit. The council will have a collection site for this liquid at the IOW dump and it will be the bands responsibility to empty these trays once a month. We need to cover the cost of this and will need to raise band subs to £600 a year per person.

So make a note in your diary for April 1st for the new regulations. Or visit http://www.pulltheotherone.com/ x

Look I don’t make the rules I’m only following orders. I believe the council are going to have an event to launch this new green innovative move. It’s to be entitled “Spew on Pugh” to encourage brass players to empty their water keys appropriately. Apparently a recent poll showed it was David’s name that made most people want to spit. Steve Beynon came a close second.
