VECTIS

At all times we will promote, encourage, facilitate and manage a brass band for the purpose of serving the community, it's members and charitable causes.

We support life long learning and inclusion for all, so that the education and performance of music go hand in hand.

I'm a widow...

It's official I'm a widow...........a golf widow. Chris has taken to playing golf in his lunch hour, he has bought a glove ( just one) and worst of all he is starting to watch it on telly. I heard him shout and sort of clap. Interested I asked what had prompted this out burst " he got a hole in one....it was fabulous"

Please shoot him before he comes home with a pair of sad knee length trousers.....it would be an act of kindness

diligo vos take est par ut diligo vos planto

It is almost exactly a year since we heard the awful news that Steve's life had ended. It is inadequate to write just how much I, and the band miss him. I want to keep my thoughts happy as I know they travel to him where ever he is. But know this, I'm just crushed my the loss of his friendship, his sparkle and his wit. Not so cut up about his feet though...
For me, no one has yet filled his shoes....... Love and peace Steve x
Please remember Steve's Dad, his sister Claire and his beloved girlfriend Mary. May you find consolation in the fact that Steve was greatly loved by all those who knew him x

Goodbye Stribbs x x

Goodbye Steve, sleep well. Most touchingly they buried him in his green jacket and a conducting baton was laid on his coffin. See you soon Stribbs, we all loved ya x
