Band ready for the off

I enjoyed playing at the church last time when we supported the Island games service so was looking forward to our return trip and I wasn't disappointed. Lovely setting and fabulous acoustics gave us a very pleasant and profitable evening. Large band too and I thank you for your continued support and commitment, it is appreciated. The large audience seems to enjoy the selected programme and sang heartily with the carols. Sad to say Goodbye to Charlotte and Mum stay in touch ans see you in the summer x

Christmas Crackers was fine, I just felt we rushed a little. Michael gave a very solid performance of 'lazy' well done x Jay just gets better and better in 'Grandfather' and the band are to congratulated on a sensitive accompaniment good stuff x 'Sing' settled after first 8 bars which were fine, its just the rest is spot on. Will look again at this on Thursday x Loved 'Carol of the bells' not easy and well played. Glynis was superb as always x 'Black & White' soloists were great, super stuff guys x Lou had a beautiful sound and style in her solo :-) x  But the highlight for me was the finale 'Hallelujah' it was just superb, I could fault it and really enjoyed it. Great night everyone. Thank you x

A very festive tuba soloist
