Sing Shanky

Letter just in form Rev Izzaerd, President of the Sandown Rotary Club


Dear Mary

I am writing to you in my role as President Rotary Club of Sandown to thank you and the band members for the tremendous help given in playing at our Sing Shankey Concert last Saturday. It was much appreciated. You put together an excellent group of players who, I think, played exceptionally well and I'm sure you felt very proud of them. They are a credit to the brass band world.

Thank you for playing Highland Cathedral. The young piper was excellent and he with the band played with a great sense of sensitivity which did, I know, have quite an impact on the congregation.

We raised the sum of £451.82 for the inshore life boat.
