- Runner up (83 marks) Abbey Westmore -Cornet solo "Song of the girl and the vine" Well done, lots of air and tone and well prepared.
Beth Craigh (82 marks) Trom solo "Cold Comfort" Promising work for such a new player. Good start as it was your first solo attempt at festival.
Robert Wickham (82 marks) Tenor horn solo "Woogie Boogie" Good start, keep production going. Another pleasing start to your festival playing.

- 1st non Vectis player ( 88 marks one of Mr Jones's player) very good performance
- Runner up (87 marks) David Littleton Cornet solo "Troika" Very good performance, lovely sound and rhythm. very promising.
Daniel Seal (86 marks) Cornet solo - "I don't know" Lovely tone quality, keep steady. Go for it at the end.
Michael McCree (85 marks) Trom solo - "The Acrobat" So many skills displayed,lots of promise. Well done.
Alex Webb (84 marks) Baritone solo - "I don't know" Beautiful sound on a difficult instrument. Musical performance.
Daisy Woodley (84 marks) Trom solo - "I don't know" Lovely tone and solid playing. Good promise for the future.

- 1st (88 marks) Daniel Callcut euph solo - "Were 'ere you walk" Really smooth tone and lyrical playing. Controlled and stylish
- Runners Up (all 87 marks)
- Sarah Jones - Tuba Solo "Tuba Smarties" Super style and spirit. Well controlled and very enjoyable
- Robert Nicholson - Tuba Solo " A littel bassey thing" From Memory. Stylish and professional. Well done.
- Tom Seal - Trumpet solo " Alleluia" Classy from start to finish. Controlled and neat despite have a retarded pianist.
David Medland (86 marks) Trumpet solo " One day" Flowing and appealing with a great sence of style. Lovely controlled solo
Really enjoyable days blow. Very high standard through out. Spoke to adjudicator after and she was very complimentary so well done one and all :-)
