SCABA Entertainment Contest


Below is the latest SCABA blurb about the next youth band contest:


The Entertainment Contest, will be held at its traditional venue, The Hawth Theatre, Hawth Avenue, Crawley, RH10 6YZ. The contest takes place on Sunday 17th May 2009. The Hawth is one of the best theatres in the country and is ideally suited to our contest. Everything is under one roof and there is a large car and coach park attached to the theatre. The contest will retain the format that has proved most successful in the past, with separate time limits for the Stage Setting and Performance elements, with an entry limit of 18 bands in total, 9 in each of the two sections. The music is an “Own Choice” entertainment programme of 24 minutes duration and the adjudicator, for this event, will be David Read.
